A quick note from Doha
Hi there,
Sonaya here.
I wanted to send a personal note today.
If you’ve been following the news, you’ve probably seen the headlines coming out of the Middle East. I’ve had quite a few people reach out to check on us, so I want to start by saying this: we are safe here in Qatar, and life is continuing on somewhat normally.
But moments like this do something interesting.
They remind you that the world is always shifting.
Policies change.
Geopolitics shifts.
Access, mobility, and stability can feel very different depending on where you are standing.
And that’s exactly why the conversation around global life and global mobility has become more important than ever.
For years, many people treated the idea of living or working abroad as a fantasy. A someday conversation. Something interesting to think about, but not something to approach strategically.
But what I’ve seen over the past few years and what I’m seeing even more clearly right now is that thoughtful, successful people are starting to ask a different question:
What would it actually look like to design a life with global options?
Not out of fear.
Not as an escape.
But as a way to create more stability, more freedom, and more long-term optionality for themselves and their families.
That’s the conversation we’re opening inside the Global Citizens Roundtable this Saturday.
It’s not a webinar about visas or travel tips.
It’s a conversation about intentionally thinking about global life as a business owner, as a professional, or as a family that wants to understand what’s possible.
We’ll walk through the Global Citizen Framework and talk about the three questions that matter most:
Should I move?
Where would it make sense to go?
And how do you design a life that actually works across borders?
If you’re someone who has been quietly thinking about this, wondering what it would take, or whether it’s even realistic, this conversation is exactly for you.
If you’d like to join us, you can reserve your seat here:
And if now isn’t the right time, that’s completely fine too. Just know that these are the kinds of conversations we’ll continue having inside the Global Life Project.
Because the world is changing.
And the people who will navigate it best are the ones who think globally, intentionally, and early.
Take care, and I hope to see you there.
Sonaya
