The perspective matters. Mobility is not only about where you can go, but whether your life is structured in a way that lets you actually enjoy being present there.

Very inspiring stuff. Your definition of global life is what I've only now realized I want after having a kid. Running around as a single nomad and even with my wife before we had a kid didn't really have any sort of permanence or long-term commitment, maybe by design, maybe just because the time wasn't right. Now as we're building our life in Spain it feels like building toward something that fits the way our family moves -- long term, not just week by week -- is the only way to find real joy in this life we've set out to live

Thanks for sharing @Tyler Koenig. You’re right, Global Life is all by design. Kids do change everything. LOL

"It’s whether you’re willing to stop building long enough to actually live in what you’ve built." - woof, that line stopped me in my tracks this morning! Such a valuable perspective on taking a beat to appreciate the global lives we're creating.
